0 Comments Published by Tim Wilson July 7th, 2006 in Emerging Technologies, Blogging, Conferences, Educational Technology, Educational Technology I had a great time on Thursday afternoon recording an episode of my podcast in front of a live audience.

Introducing the Read/Write Web
0 Comments Published by Tim Wilson July 7th, 2006 in Blogging, Wikis, Conferences, Educational Technology, Educational Technology I had a great time presenting at NECC on Wednesday. I captured the audio (albeit in a low-quality version) and attached my Keynote slides as an enhanced podcast. I’m also linking to a pure audio MP3 version in case your computer can’t handle AAC-encoded media.
I posted the links for my talk previously, so please have […]

Support Blogging Buttons! EdBlogger Meetup Details! More!
0 Comments Published by Will June 29th, 2006 in On My Mind, Blogging, Educational Technology, Educational TechnologySo we’ve got buttons! 1,000 of them to give away at NECC in fact. They’ll be at the Open Source lab starting on Tuesday. (And Steve Hargadon was nice enough to ante up the $335 to get them made, so maybe we can figure out a way to make sure he gets paid back.) The […]

“…..now that we have podcasting and blogging anyone can do it. You don’t need to be some rich person in New York, you can produce from your own home. It has also changed how we can learn in today’s society.”
Amen. […]

Blogs For Professional Development
0 Comments Published by Will June 23rd, 2006 in Blogging, Professional Development, Educational Technology, Educational TechnologyYesterday, Bud pointed to the work of Karl Fisch in Centennial, Co, and although I had seen Karl’s name popping up in various spots and I think even linked to him on a couple of occasions, Bud urged me to “Pay attention” to Karl’s work. So, this morning, I did some digging around “The Fischbowl.”
