Why so few male teachers?
Published by BoardBuzz: NSBA's daily weblog October 28th, 2005 in UncategorizedSchool Board News reports that the number of male teachers in public schools is at its lowest level in 40 years: “Less than a quarter of all teachers in U.S. public schools are men. When you get down to the elementary grades, it’s harder to find a man in the classroom—just 9 percent of elementary school teachers are men.”
