Like many of her classmates, Taylor Behl — a first-year student at Virginia Commonwealth University who has been missing since early September — keeps an online journal. And police officers are canvassing her blog, hoping that the teenager’s musings on friends and love interests will provide clues about her disappearance.

Meanwhile, rubbernecking Web surfers have also discovered Ms. Behl’s journal. Some have turned the site into a premature memento mori – a development Ms. Behl most likely never anticipated when she started blogging in high school. (The Washington Post)
