Healthc Hazard Mater Manage. 1992 Jan;5(4):9-11

Authors:

Sporicidin products have been recalled by a joint action of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). HHMM emphasizes that other glutaraldehyde-based cold sterilant products are still acceptable for use. An FDA spokesperson could not offer a reason why Sporicidin products failed the Association of Official Analytical Chemists test protocol for sterilants (see HHMM July 1990; 3[10]:1).
